Masseria Baroni Nuovi was founded by Mr Antimo Campana at the onset of the 60's. During the years, the sons and heirs of the property yearned to continue the wonderful work accomplished by their beloved father. They thus wanted to bring forth, cultivate the philosophy and purpose of the property. It is situated in the countryside of Brindisi, between Salento and upper Salento. It extends over approximately 160 hectares of cultivated land of orchards, cereals, vegetables, olive and vines, on the small town near the country road nr44 of Acquaro that connects the railway station FS of San Vito scalo to the town of Messapico of Mesagne (Br).

The food farming products respect a high quality standard with some marks of excellence, among which, olive crush, that are extracted from Virgin olive oil, highly appreciated for its very low level of acidity and its particular flavour that match really well with the Mediterranean cuisine.

From the grapes produced from the vineyards of the estate, are extracted good wines, among which:
RUSTEM, a red wine grape variety native of Southern Italy D.O.C.
HIPPIOS, typical of the Salento region I.G.T.
MENZANA, a rosé wine from “Brindisi” D.O.C.
PLUVIO, a Chardonnay “fermo” I.G.T.
PLUVIO Vivace, a sparkling Chardonnay I.G.T.

For the cultivation and transformation of the products, the '0 km' philosophy is fully respected. We do have our own cellar and the wines and oils are now processed and bottled in nearby cellars and oil-mills. The traditional production processes are respected and genuinely represent the upper Salento.
