Masseria Baroni Nuovi was founded by Mr Antimo Campana at the onset of the 60’s.
During the years, the sons and heirs of the property yearned to continue the wonderful work accomplished by their beloved father.
They thus wanted to bring forth, cultivate the philosophy and purpose of the property. It is situated in the countryside of Brindisi,between Salento and upper Salento.
It extends over approximately 160 hectares of cultivated land of orchards, cereals, vegetables, olive and vines, on the small town near the country road nr44 of Acquaro that connects the railway station FS of San Vito scalo to the town of Messapico of Mesagne (Br).
The Precious Fruits of our Land
The quality standards of our agrifood products are very high. Some products stand out for their excellence, such as our “olive juice”, a superior Extra-Virgin Olive Oil enjoyed for its extremely low acidity and unusual flavour, which pairs well with Mediterranean dishes.
The grapes from our vineyards give us well-structured wines, such as:
RUSTEM, a D.O.C. Negroamaro wine;
HIPPIOS, an I.G.T. Primitivo del Salento wine;
MENZANA, a D.O.C. “Brindisi” Rosé wine;
PLUVIO, an I.G.T. “still” Chardonnay wine;
PLUVIO Vivace, an I.G.T. “sparkling” Chardonnay wine.

We grow and transform our products according to a short food chain and “0 km” philosophy. Although we have our own winery on site, for logistical reasons our wines and oil are now produced and bottled in nearby wineries and oil mills based on the use of traditional methods, upholding the art of wine- and oil-making in northern Salento.
