Masseria Baroni Nuovi was founded by Mr Antimo Campana at the onset of the 60’s.
During the years, the sons and heirs of the property yearned to continue the wonderful work accomplished by their beloved father.
They thus wanted to bring forth, cultivate the philosophy and purpose of the property. It is situated in the countryside of Brindisi,between Salento and upper Salento.
It extends over approximately 160 hectares of cultivated land of orchards, cereals, vegetables, olive and vines, on the small town near the country road nr44 of Acquaro that connects the railway station FS of San Vito scalo to the town of Messapico of Mesagne (Br).
The Precious Fruits of our Land
The quality standards of our agrifood products are very high. Some products stand out for their excellence, such as our “olive juice”, a superior Extra-Virgin Olive Oil enjoyed for its extremely low acidity and unusual flavour, which pairs well with Mediterranean dishes.
From the grapes produced by the estate’s vineyards, well-structured wines are crafted.

Primitivo of Salento is a red wine obtained through careful and prolonged maceration of grapes, produced in the Salento region. This wine has an intense and deep ruby color, with violet shades that tend towards garnet as it ages. The intense and persistent aroma complements its pleasantly fruity and soft taste. The warm and dry climate of Salento, characterized by infrequent heavy rainfall, along with its proximity to the sea, further enriches these already excellent grapes. The organic management of our vineyards contributes to preserving all the characteristics of the wine. Excellent with robust dishes based on red meats, game, and aged cheeses. The bottle should be uncorked at least one hour before serving. Recommended serving temperature is around 18°C. - RUSTEM – Negramaro of Salento IGP – Masseria Baroni Nuovi – € 12,00 per bottle
Negroamaro of Salento is obtained from mature negroamaro grapes. This wine has a characteristic intense ruby red color, so dark it appears almost black. The aroma is strongly fruity, reminiscent of small black berries, often with subtle tobacco undertones. The wine has a slightly bitter aftertaste and a dry but simultaneously fruity, full, and dry flavor. The organic management of our vineyards helps preserve all the characteristics of the wine. It is perfect for accompanying dishes based on red meats and aged cheeses. The bottle should be uncorked at least one hour before serving. Recommended serving temperature is around 18°C.

We grow and transform our products according to a short food chain and “0 km” philosophy. Although we have our own winery on site, for logistical reasons our wines and oil are now produced and bottled in nearby wineries and oil mills based on the use of traditional methods, upholding the art of wine- and oil-making in northern Salento.
